Today, we are happy to release Gumstix Chatterbox W5G for Raspberry Pi® Compute. This board has an improved WiFi/Bluetooth® module providing the increased bandwidth of 5 GHz 802.11b/g/n over the previous 2.4 GHz model, as well as Bluetooth® 4.2 and BLE.
Both boards are designed in Geppetto.
Add 5 GHz on your custom Raspberry Pi board
Using Geppetto, you can now select 5 GHz capabilities to our TI WiLink8 module! To do that, select the TI WiLink8 module, click WiFi in the provide flags and select the 2.4 & 5.0 GHz MIMO.
